The man who has been making headlines for his bizarre sex video is apologizing after he posted it on the internet.
The 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with statutory rape and voyeurism after posting the disturbing video online on February 9, according to police.
Authorities have not released a motive for the man’s actions.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The incident occurred at Gates’ home in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta.
He said he had sex with the woman, who was married, but did not identify her by name.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Gates posted the video on his Facebook page.
Gates said he made the video “for a reason,” according to WSB-TV.
He later told WSB he would not comment on the case or discuss his sex life.
Atlanta Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell said he was aware of the arrest, but said he could not confirm the circumstances of Gates’ arrest.
